Stanley Sultar, 88, a resident of Delray Beach, FL and Buffalo Grove, IL, passed away March 24, 2016. Born on July 2, 1927 in Chicago to the late Harry and Pearl Sultar. After graduating from Loyola University Dental School, Stanley served honorably in the Korean War for 2 years. He then married the love of his life, Lee Bergman, on June 1, 1952. Upon his return from service, he and his wife settled in the Chicago area where they raised their four daughters. Stanley practiced dentistry in the Chicago Area for 33 years. Upon retirement, Stan played golf and enjoyed bridge and painting, as he and Lee split their time between Chicago and Delray Beach. As one of Stan’s doctors stated, “he always carried himself with grace and dignity and always had a smile on his face.” A gentle soul with a kind heart and a wonderful sense of humor. Stan is lovingly remembered by his wife Lee, his four daughters and son-in-laws, Susan (Ron) Pickard, Sharon (Jim Hasek, Stacey (Howard) Farfel and Sari (Kenneth) Rudy, his 10 grandchildren, Stephanie (Ricky) Cutler, David, Justin, Jordan, Melanie, Alex, Jack, Samantha and Andrew. Chapel service Monday, March 28 at 2:30 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd, Arlington Heights. Entombment Beth Shearim Mausoleum.
